Le Salon

Le Salon was a group exhibition held at The Edge Gallery and Urban Art Centre (Winnipeg) in June 2019. The show contained personal and collaborative work from a range of artists, including Valde. The show was a curatorial debut for Valde and many of the artists were exhibiting their work for the first time. The exhibition got its name from the salon-style format of hanging art, and also being french for the living room. Most of the artists in the show grew up together in St. Boniface, and have spent countless hours enjoying each other's company.
